What's Included

When staying at Spelkollektivet, your accommodation, workspace, and daily meals are included. The goal is to remove as much friction as possible so you can focus on developing games and collaborating with other developers.

Residents live and work together in a shared creative environment designed for game development.

Spelkollektivet offers several accommodation options depending on your preferences, budget, and availability. Regardless of where you stay, all residents have access to the same workspaces, meals, and community activities.

For long-term stays, it is possible to remove the provided furniture if you prefer to bring your own.

Workspace & Offices

Spelkollektivet provides several shared offices where residents work on their projects and collaborate with others. Different offices offer varying levels of noise and activity, allowing residents to choose the environment that suits their work.

Workspaces include:

  • Desk and chair
  • Printer
  • Papers and pens
  • High-speed internet (cable and WiFi)

While it is possible to work from your private room or accommodation, we strongly encourage residents to work from the shared offices. This is where spontaneous discussions, feedback sessions, and new collaborations often happen.

The magic at Spelkollektivet comes from developers working side by side, sharing ideas, and helping each other bring their games to life.

Meals & Drinks

Breakfast, lunch, and evening meals are included for residents who have not opted out of the food program. Drinks such as coffee and tea are available to anyone with access to the office spaces.

Meals are shared moments where residents often discuss projects, exchange ideas, and spend time together as a community.

To keep the workspaces clean and comfortable for everyone, eating is not allowed at the desks in the offices.
